Who We Are
WHAT IS THE PUBLIC DIPLOMACY COLLABORATIVE?
The Public Diplomacy Collaborative (PD Collaborative) brings together public diplomacy practitioners and supporters across sectors, disciplines, and national boundaries. We are a lab for enhancing public diplomacy effectiveness and engaging in purposeful global discussion.
The PD Collaborative is an independent, non-government-sponsored program at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation. Drawing experts from the academic, corporate, diplomatic, developmental, cultural, military, religious, and media sectors, we foster the exchange of public-opinion analyses, regional expertise, measurement tools, and case studies on the strategy and tactics of public diplomacy. We promote discussion, mentoring, training, scholarship, and publication in the field of public diplomacy with the aims of expanding and improving public diplomacy practice and ultimately promoting democratic governance.
