Carla Chrisfield is Program Coordinator and Assistant to Executive Directors Marty Mauzy and Arn Howitt of the Ash Institute.
Prior to coming to Harvard, she held positions at Constellation Center, Inc. (an ambitious concert hall project planned for the city of Cambridge), the Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology at MIT (an international research center), and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Trained as a classical musician, Ms. Chrisfield holds degrees in Voice from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and the Cleveland Institute of Music, and furthered her training at the Britten-Pears School for Advanced Musical Studies in Aldeburgh, England, and the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has performed extensively as a solo recitalist and chamber musician, in both Europe and the United States.
