Anniversary Publications

The Ash Institute has planned and produced a series of publications to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the Awards. In the October issue of Governing magazine, there was a magazine piece recognizing the 2007 Winners and looking back at all the winners of the Innovation in American Government Award. The Institute will also launch a book series containing volumes on the history of the Innovations in American Government Awards, the study of government innovation, and the new frontiers of innovation such as networked governance and innovation in markets.

The current list of publications includes:

Celebrating 20 Years of Government Innovation: 20th Anniversary Report of the Innovations in American Government Award Winners. March 2008.

Innovations in American Government: Research, Recognition, and Replication. Sandford Borins, editor. March 2008.

“The Innovations in American Government Awards: Celebrating 20 Years,” in Governing Magazine, October 2007.
