Affirmative Action Meeting
Hosted by the Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) and jointly sponsored by the ISS, the African American Policy Forum, and the Ash Institute, this bi-lateral conversation between Indian and American scholars, researchers, and advocates examined the current state and future trajectory of affirmative action discourses in both India and the United States. Participants discussed the nature of ongoing forms of institutional and structural discrimination, as well as the importance of affirmative action policies designed to eliminate these problems.
