In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the Innovations in American Government Awards, the Ash Institute has organized a series of events around the Frontiers of Innovation global conference to be hosted at Harvard Kennedy School. These forum and luncheon events will highlight past and present innovative government programs, and will look to the future of government innovation.

The Overt Drug Market Strategy, an initiative of the City of High Point, North Carolina Police Department, is a law enforcement/community partnership that collapses drug markets, reduces violence by directly engaging dealers and their families, creates predictable sanctions, and offers a range of services. Representatives of this award-winning program will share best practices at an interactive brownbag session on Tuesday, April 8 at 1 p.m.
December 7, 2007: Innovations in American Government: ACCESS Florida
Automated Community Connection to Economic Self-Sufficiency (ACCESS) Florida is the newly retooled and modernized public assistance service delivery system for the citizens of Florida.
This model is based on streamlined workflows, policy simplification, technology innovations and partnership with local community organizations. ACCESS Florida was one of the winners of the 2007 Innovations in American Government Award.
